As if the Holy Spirit up and left, I mean the very idea of living here without Him to me is totally horrific.
I have been severely rebuked and the fear of the Lord came upon me, and have also had His love come upon me.
The two shall never meet. They are as far apart as the east is from the west.
Yet the testing will continue to refine us under pressure. Tho' thou slay me, yet will I praise thee.
The faith of Abraham as he readied the knife over his son is no light thing.
If one ponders this deeply about the very act of trusting God Almighty readying to thrust the blade, well beloved ones, this is where we currently are.
May the Most High God strengthen our faith of mustard seed to endure to the end.
I can tell that your walk with the LORD is real, and deep! You have been through the 'valley of death,' which a very hard place to go through! However, through it all, you have remained faithful, even during the times of intense testing. You are being refined through the fires, and your FAITH, which is more precious than gold, will shine forth! (1 Peter 1:7)
Many are WEARY, but in our weakness, we must allow the LORD to be STRONG through our weaken state....and when we learn how to do this, then we are at our strongest!
I, too, used to think that the shield of faith was like a Roman shield (2 dimensional), but then the Lord reminded me about Psalm 3: 3... The Lord is "a shield about me."
"But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head." (Psalm 3: 3)
He hears you. He sees you .He loves you. No matter what happens, He is with you. He goes before you. He walks beside you. He indwells you. And He has your back.
"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace." (Numbers 6: 24-26)
